Subhan Allah, the day of Victory has come : Eid-ul-fitr

Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar

this is the Day of Eid, the Day of reckoning, the Day of rewards, the Day of gathering, the Day of Victory

Let us all rejoice in faith, unity, love, compassion and peace

Dear brothers and sisters, from all over the world, I pray with all my heart,

That Allah strengthens our heart with powerful iman,

That Allah shed light in our hearts

That Allah always feed us with halal food and provide for us with ease

I pray for my brothers and sisters who are undergoing their tests in this life, that Allah accompany them

so that their tests become a means of guidance for them all.

Eid has been given to our community. It is such a unique and auspicious moment of joy and full bliss

We ask Allah to accept all our deeds done sincerely for His Sake and we hope, deep down in our hearts,

that Allah will forgive us our shortcomings, will purify our hearts from all diseases, will show mercy upon us

and will change our bad habits into good.

Mauritius is a peaceful and blessed island, Alhamdulillah. Muslims have been bestowed great opportunities through the labour of their ancestors. Though Muslims are a minority with some 17 percent of the whole Mauritian population, Islam is gaining more and more interest

Muslims are scattered throughout the island and the main gatherings of Muslims are in Port-Louis the capital, especially in Plaine Verte. Here, you can feel the celebration of Eid in its glamour. Pagoda street is busy and joyous with food, cakes, dresses, abayas, flowers, bags, shoes, mehendi and mehendi artists….

Eid in Mauritius is a time where people connect with each other, not only among Muslims – the non-Muslims who like to be in the presence of Muslims too. They are most welcomed by the community to buy, to share, to interact….Alhamdulillah

Eid is a time of blessings because it allows merchants to sell their products and feed their families and feel the satisfaction of earning halal. The declicious food cooked and sold helps to discover new recipes and new ways of cooking too

The young mehendi artists show their talents and earn a living through their arts. This is a good thing for them.

The emotion relieved on the eve of Eid is a positive thing because it allows people to breathe and be happy. [Doing excess is prohibited]

Eid is the time to reconcile with families and friends and to visit the elders and this is the powerful point of the Mauritian Muslims who love to visit their families and elders and take pride in it for so many years, and we pray that this tradition continues in sha Allah

In Mauritius, children find great solace and happiness during the period of Eid. Eid is not celebrated in one day; rather the whole week is Eid and often a whole month [Al hamdulillah] because it takes a long time to visit all the families and friends and to have lunch with them. This is the Mauritian tradition of course [smile]. And why do children like Eid so much, you may ask? Well, they get plenty of envelopes : mummy, daddy, elder sisters and brothers, aunties, uncles, grannies….and the list is long !!!  [hihihi]

What do Mauritian Muslims eat on the day of Eid?

It is a local tradition to eat sweet vermicelli after salat-ul-Eid. Vermicelli is cooked in milked, with sugar and almond. the almond and cardamoms are initially roasted in the ghee or butter.

For lunch, the family gathers around the famous briani or biryani. Mauritius is well-known for its briani recipe which according to many, believe that the best briani is cooked in Mauritius [Ohhh yes, it is !!!] Just come and taste it, not the commercial one, but the traditional one!!!

What are the traps and tricks of the accursed shaytan?

What should be your attitudes after Ramadan?

Many muslims unknowingly fall into the traps of Shaytan the accursed. They think that a whole month of sacrifice is enough! So on Eid Day, they forget everything about their promises to keep themselves cleaned and purified. They all of a sudden become worse than they were just before Ramadan. They re-adopt their bad habits. Many Muslims go to nightclubs, they dance, listen to unhealthy music, go out with unhealthy so-called friends, smoke cigarettes…and what more???

They stop praying, Subhan Allah. They turn their back to Almighty Allah, the One who accepted their duas during the Ramadan. now, they feel they no longer need Allah. Ya Allah, protect our heart from any type of ungratefulness.

1- Satan makes sins seem nice
Satan has made their deeds seem pleasing in their eyes. (An-Naml, 24) Qur’an

2-Satan keeps people busy with false desires

I will mislead them and I will create in them false desires…(an-Nisa,119) Qur’an

3-Satan keeps people busy with meaningless things and nonsense

4-Satan makes people worship invalid gods
Some of those invalid gods are as follows:1-Satan /2-Evil-commanding soul /3-Idols/4-People

5-Satan causes delusions in prayer (salah)

The Prophet stated the following:

“When the call for the prayer is pronounced, Satan takes to his heels, passing wind with noise, When the call for the prayer is finished, he comes back. And when the Iqama is pronounced, he again takes to his heels, and after its completion, he returns again to interfere between the praying person and his heart, saying to him. ‘Remember this or that thing.’ till the person forgets how many rakahs he has performed.” (Bukhari, Bad’u’l-Khalq, 11)

6-Satan tries to prevent people from prostrating:

The Prophet [pbuh] stated the following regarding the issue:

When the son of Adam recites the Ayah of Sajdah (prostration) and then falls down in prostration, Satan goes into seclusion and weeps and says: Alas; and in the narration of Abu Kuraib the words are: Woe unto me, the son of Adam was commanded to prostrate, and he prostrated and Paradise was entitled to him and I was commanded to prostrate, but I refused and am doomed to
Hell.. (Muslim)

7-Satan leads people to imitate others

When they are told to follow the (revelation) that Allah has sent down, they say: “Nay we shall follow the ways that we found our fathers (following).” What! Even if it is Satan beckoning them to the Penalty of the (Blazing) Fire? (Luqman, 21)

Imitation (taqlid) means to accept a word without any evidence

8-Satan drives a wedge between people

Allah states the following in the Qur’an:

Say to My servants that they should (only) say those things that are best: for Satan doth sow dissensions among them: for Satan is to man an avowed enemy. (al-Isra, 53)

9-Satan frightens people :-”Satan threatens you with poverty and bids you to conduct unseemly.” (Al-Baqara, 268)

“It is only the Evil One that suggests to you the fear of his votaries: be ye not afraid of them, but fear Me, if ye have Faith.” (Al-Imran, 175)

10-Satan does not let man confess his mistakes

11-Satan encourages people to drink alcohol and to gamble

12-Satan makes people forget

And be ye not like those who forgot Allah; and He made them forget themselves souls! such are the rebellious transgressors. (Al-Hashr, 19)

13- Satan proceeds to the target step by step

O ye who believe! Follow not Satan’s footsteps: if any will follow the footsteps of Satan he will (but) command what is indecent and wrong… (an-Nur, 21; al-Baqara, 168, 208; al-An’am, 142)

14- Satan leads people to fire :The one who was created out of fire will end up in fire. However, he does not want to be alone in fire; he wants to have many people, who were sent to the earth as vicegerents, with him in fire

Please reflect upon this verse:

The noble month is a true school of transformation in which we change our actions, habits and manners that are in variance with the Law of Allah ‘azza wa jall. “Verily, Allah does not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves.” [Ar-Ra`d, 11]
Ramadan is a school for each one of us. Are we good students? Have we acquired something during this full month of training? Have you been qualified by Allah, after this?
Remember: it is easy to fall, yet hard to stand up again

Some more good news during this blessed month of Ramadan

Dawah is the invitation to non-muslims. Islam, as you know, is not for muslims, it is for the whole humanity.

Dawah is the duty of every muslim man and woman because every individual must know who is the Creator and what the Qur’an preaches.

This 80 year old man has just embraced Islam with our brothers on Market Street, Manchester.

We pray that Allah the Most Wise makes him into the best of the Muslims and an example for us that its never too late to return back to the true worship of Allah. Ameen.

[below] This is Br. Daniel who took his shahaadah with the team yesterday at the Olympic Village.

We pray that Allah The Most High makes Br. Daniel into the best of believers and a guiding light for not-yet-Muslims around the world. Ameen.

Today 27th Ramdhan in Makkah 58 country’s Muslim leaders United and discussed about Burma and Syria

Insha Allah all Muslims will be United under the reign of Hazrat Mahdi [as]

Remember: Muslims are brothers. They do not backbite each other. When you see wrong in people, make dua. Dua is a powerful weapon that can change your destiny, from bad to good.

Amazing things about Islam which you never thought before

Subhan Allah read this:

Arrange Yourselves (Beautiful)

In the program called “One Family” on MAJD channel, the speaker was Dr.Yahya Alyahya (head of the Call To Islam Committee). He said that Muslims are never disorganized; they just need to be CONVINCED.

Then he told a story of an American non-Muslim man who was discussing about Islam with him while he was watching a live broadcast of salat al-isha from the Ka’bah on TV. The American man was so amazed at how crowded the masjid was because more than 3 million Muslims were there in the last nights of the holy month of Ramadan. It was so crowded and so disorganized.
The sheikh asked the non-Muslim man: How long do you think they’ll take to organize themselves in rows and start the Salaat?
He answered: At least 2-3 hours.
The sheikh said: But the masjid al-Haram of Ka’bah is four floors.
The man said: Oh, this will make it about 12 hours then.
The sheikh said: Keep in your mind that they are from countries all over the world with different languages.
The American man said: Then its impossible to organize them by any means!
Then the salaat time came and sheikh Sudais of Makkah stood up and said “Estawoo” which in English means “arrange yourselves”. And within seconds, the whole scene changed and the crowd of 3 million Muslims arranged themselves in well-organized rows in no time!
The American man stared at the TV screen for a moment and then said: ASH-ASH-HADU AN LA ILAHA ILLA ALLAH WA ASH-HADU ANNA MOHAMMADAN RASOOLOLLAH (I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but ALLAH and I bear witness that Mohammad is His Servant and Messenger).

You will never think about the event muslims created for the Olympics 2012 ….

Subhan Allah, great moment…

The types of hearts

Because the heart is described as possessing life or death, it is classified into three types:

The Correct and Sound Heart

This is the truthful and sound (salim) heart. It is the only type of heart that a person can bring to Allah on the Day of Judgement which will rescue him. Allah, Exalted is He says,

“The Day when neither wealth nor sons will be of any use – except for he who comes to Allah with a sound and flawless heart.” (Surah ash-Shu’ara, 26 : 88-89)

The meaning of Salim (secure) is salim (the one who is secure), it has come in this form because it depicts an innate attribute or description of the described. As such it is grammatically like the words tall (tawil), short (qasir), or graceful and charming (zarif).

Therefore the one whose heart is described as salim is…

Turkey comes to help Muslims in need

Can somebody be killed just because of his religious appurtenance in 2014-2015?

YES, this is still possible….Muslims are being killed mercilessly whether they are babies, children and women.

Torture is a terrible thing to bear for those who remain alive and watch the horrible scene of ‘unhumanness’

Who cares?

This is brotherhood among Muslims – when the Prime Minister of Turkey and his family decide to step there as a moral support….

Emine Erdogan at the Banduba refugee camp in the Myanmar coastal state of Rakhine.
