Are you suffering from diabetes? Do you want to be cured? If so, this article is for you

Diabetes is a modern illness. People of all ages are having diabetes. Diabetes is associated with this hectic modern life, junk food and the lack of exercise.

People who live in hot countries such as Mauritius, the percentage of diabetes keep on increasing. Junk food such as fast food and processed food are most loved by children, adolescents and adults. Many children refuse to have a  proper meal and choose their favourite food every day. Added to this, many working parents do not have enough time to cook proper food for their children; so the number of obese keep on increasing.

When the pancreas does not work properly, then the problem of diabetes start. Many people are not aware of it, though they have few symptoms. Diabetes is dangerous. You need to get it out completely of your life.

Having diabetes is a signal to come back to a peaceful life with a balanced diet.

Stop all the processed food, the ‘unreal food’, fast food and junk food and all fizzy drinks.

Exercise to keep fit

Read some useful comments on the subject:

“You can control diabetes very well with your diet.I helped my mother change her diet from lots of carbohydrates to very little carbohydrates and more protein and vegetables.”

“Aspartame and all the rest of the artificial sweetners are toxic in the body and cause huge problems with sugar regulation”.

“Stop eating all refined sugars. “

“Even just walking 30 minutes a day can have a huge impact on preventing diabetes. The key is to make it a daily activity.”

“If you eat meat, eat only fresh unprocessed meat, never eat processed packaged meat because it contains sodium nitrite, a chemical that destroys pancreas function. This means no pepperoni pizza, no  potato soup, no deli meat sandwiches and so on.”

To the extent that you can do these five things, you can reverse diabetes yourself! Diabetes is not a difficult disease to prevent or reverse because it’s not really an affliction that “strikes” you randomly. It is merely the biological effect of following certain lifestyle (bad foods, no exercise) that can be reversed in virtually anyone, sometimes in just a few days.

“Blood Sugar escalation is only the symptom of Diabetes; disease belongs to Pancreas (to be more precise Beta-cells).”

“Eat every five hours and never eat in between and keep only three meals. Stop all rice, bread and pasta. Replace them by Ryvita”

Always keep in mind the age old proverb “an apple a day keeps the doctor away”

Individuals can experience different signs and symptoms of diabetes, and sometimes there may be no signs. Some of the signs commonly experienced include:

  • Frequent urination
  • Excessive thirst
  • Increased hunger
  • Weight loss
  • Tiredness
  • Lack of interest and concentration
  • A tingling sensation or numbness in the hands or feet
  • Blurred vision
  • Frequent infections
  • Slow-healing wounds
  • Vomiting and stomach pain (often mistaken as the flu)

The development of type 1 diabetes is usually sudden and dramatic while the symptoms can often be mild or absent in people with type 2 diabetes, making this type of diabetes hard to detect.

If you show these signs and symptoms, consult a health professional.

You can take good care of yourself and your diabetes by learning

  • what to eat
  • how much to eat
  • when to eat

You can help prevent health problems by keeping your blood glucose levels on target

If you want some motivation, please read the article below:

‘I used to live on Indian takeaways and fish and chips and, every night, I’d have at least a glass of wine and a gin and tonic. I love good cognac. I did no exercise either.’

In early 2004, when popping into her chemist, Janet mentioned to her pharmacist how she was feeling.

‘I said my legs were hurting and I was feeling run down,’ recalls Janet. ‘The lady asked if I’d mind if she did a pin prick blood test on me, and reached for a box that contained a kit for diabetics to measure blood glucose levels, which was worrying.

‘She looked at the results and sent me straight to the GP, who did further tests and talked through how I was feeling.

‘I was diagnosed with diabetes. My mother and grandmother had it, so I wasn’t shocked, but I think the only reason it hadn’t entered my mind was because I was working so hard and had put my head in the sand.

‘I was told to lose weight, start eating healthily, exercise and look after myself more. I went away full of good intentions, but they fell by the wayside as work took over my life again.’

Working it out: Janet symptoms lessened when she exercised (posed by model)

Apart from taking the medication she was prescribed (which worked by helping the body to produce insulin and to limit the production of glucose from the liver), she carried on as she had since losing her husband.

‘The only thing I did to “manage” my condition was carry chocolate with me, or sugar. I would eat a bit whenever my blood sugar levels plummeted and I started to feel faint, which happened throughout the day.

I was controlling my diabetes with sugar – the worst thing you can do. Chocolate is meant to be for emergencies only, not for lunch.’

‘Not surprisingly, things weren’t improving. I still felt very irritable and had pains in my legs.’

But a year after her diagnosis, by which point Janet was struggling to walk up stairs without becoming breathless, she knew she had no choice but to change.

‘I remember one day when I apologised for snapping at one of my beauty therapists,’ says Janet. ‘I said I wasn’t feeling well, but she said that I was irritable all the time. It was a wake-up call.

‘I could no longer ignore the fact that I wasn’t enjoying my life, my business was suffering and I couldn’t go on the way I was.

‘The first change I made was to go to the gym and start walking three times a week. Within two months, I felt better and more energetic.’

She started working out with a personal trainer and began to eat more healthily.

‘It took all my willpower to stick with it – there were always parties and events with wine available. But I wanted to lead a happy life again, so refused to give up.

‘I cut down on alcohol and began cooking at home. I stopped using chocolate to control blood sugar and forced myself to take time out from work to eat.

‘It was a slow process, but I could tell through my fortnightly checkups at the GP that my condition was improving as my blood sugar levels were normalising.

‘Six months after I began exercising, the doctor said I could reduce my medication.’

She adds: ‘Until then, I’d still enjoyed things like puddings. Now my medication was being reduced, I had to watch what I ate, and stuck to low glycemic index foods such as brown rice and veg, which help stabilise blood sugars. I was getting compliments wherever I went, which boosted me further.’

Two years ago, Janet was able to stop taking her medication completely. She still sees her GP for check-ups every three months. But she no longer experiences any diabetes symptoms, although officially she is still a diabetic.

‘Janet’s determination to lose weight and effectively control her diabetes is inspirational,’ says Zoe Harrison of Diabetes UK.

‘Some cases of Type 2 diabetes can be managed by eating a healthy balanced diet and doing regular physical activity, and occasionally people taking tablets for the condition no longer need them.

‘But there’s no guarantee you’ll not have to take tablets or insulin in the future.’

For Janet, however, the outcome has been better than she could have hoped. Now a size 14-16, in August she climbed Ben Nevis.

Next year, she plans to climb Mt Kilimanjaro.

‘What’s surprised me most is that getting this far hasn’t involved being fanatic about things,’ she says.

‘I exercise three times a week for 30-35 minutes, usually powerwalking on the cross trainer or doing weights at home, and the food I eat is still enjoyable.

‘Now, for instance, for breakfast I have Ryvita with cottage cheese, mid-morning some ham on Ryvita, and a salad or vegetable soup for lunch. In the afternoon, I have a cup of herbal tea, and then for dinner, I cook myself a meal such as lamb chops and vegetables.

When I go out, I treat myself and have a three course meal, but I’ve learned that if I do that, I have to burn the sugar to prevent it sitting in my bloodstream. So I’ll get on my cross trainer a few hours later.

‘My life has changed hugely. I’m happier and healthier. Best of all, I no longer feel ashamed of myself when I’m running my salon. I feel that I can advise people on their looks and hold my head up high.’

What is the conspiracy theory? Why is this manipulation going on?

O Believers, you are constantly being attacked!!!

O you who believe, you are constantly being oppressed!!! some media claim that you are threatening others but if you have a critical mind and use your intellect, you would see closer with your eyes…..

Malcom X:

The media's the most powerful entity on earth. They have the power to make the innocent guilty and to make the guilty innocent, and that's power. Because they control the minds of the masses. - Malcolm X

“If you’re not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing.”

I’ve had enough of someone else’s propaganda. I’m for truth, no matter who tells it. I’m for justice, no matter who it’s for or against. I’m a human being first and foremost, and as such I am for whoever and whatever benefits humanity as a whole.

You have been given a brain. You have the ability to choose what is right and what is wrong. If you decide to allow others to manipulate you, then you are the one to blame!!!

How long will you stay blind?

Even in your Salah [prayer], people nag you and play tricks against you!!!

How?

Well, have a look at your mussalla [your prayer mat]

See what they are doing against you

Is there any remedy for the soul and the kind of sickness that even doctors cannot help?

For those who are distressed, who feel hopeless, are sick and need help and who think their soul and mind are sick…

Many people when they are in a situation of trial, do not understand why they need to be tried. They often turn their back to life with some negative thoughts. Life is a test in itself. Everyone of us is aware of it. We need to take up the challenges of this life with the right weapon. It is time to study this life according with full consciousness.

This temporal life is an illusion. We will not stay on earth eternally. Today, the average lifetime on earth is around 60-70 years old. So, let us make the best out of it and let us find a solution to all our problems. Don’t let them creep!!!

Have you ever heard of the word Ruqya? Yes, I am sure many among you know about this word. Normally, Ruqyah is the treatment relayed to us by  Prophet Muhammad (saw) for afflictions such as Sihr (Magic) Masaha (Possession) and Ayn (Evil Eye).

Ruqyah, is that Ruqyah is when a person recites part of the Qur’an such as Al-Fatihah or makes supplication using words transmitted from the authentic Hadith of the Prophet (saw) Ref. Fath-ul-Majid]

People with a materialistic mind may not accept that the Words of Allah are a healing for the heart, mind, soul and body. While those who believe the Quran can cure, they partly believe in its Power.

This is not fiction! There is Power in the Speech of Allah. When you  read the Quran with full consciousness, it penetrates your heart, your vein, your soul, your pores….hence, your complete body and it acts as a cure to counteract the maladies that your body suffer from.

Yes, it is simple as this. The more you read the Quran with certainty of faith [conviction and determination], the more the Quran will react unto you.

It was narrated that A’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said:

“When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was ill, he would recite al-Mu`awidhatayn (surahs of Al-Falaq and An-Nas) over himself and spit dryly. When his pain grew intense, I recited over him and wiped him with his own hand, seeking its blessing. “ (Al-Bukhari).

With regard to the du`aa’ that is prescribed for the Muslim to say if he wants to recite Ruqyah for himself or for someone else, there are many such du`aa’s, most common are Al-Fatihah and Al-Mu`awidhatayn.

A group of the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) set out on a journey and traveled until they came near one of the Arab tribes. They asked them for hospitality but they were refused. Then the leader of that tribe was stung, and his people tried everything to cure him but nothing helped. Then some of them said, “Why don’t you go to those people who are staying (nearby)? Maybe one of them has something.” So they went to them and said, “O people, our leader has been stung and we have tried everything and nothing helped him. Do you have anything?” One of them said, “Yes, by Allah. I will perform Ruqyah for him, but by Allah we asked you for hospitality and you did not give us anything, so we will not perform Ruqyah for you unless you give us something in return.” So they agreed on a flock of sheep, then he started to blow on him and recite Al-hamdu Lillahi Rabb il-`Alameen. Then he recovered quickly from his complaint and started walking, and he was completely cured. After that they took the flock of sheep, and some of the companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Let us share it out.”

The one who had performed Ruqyah said, “Do not do anything until we come to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and tell him what happened, and we will wait and see what he tells us to do.” So they came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and told him what had happened. He said, “How did you know that it is a Ruqyah?”

Then he said, “You did the right thing. Share them out, and give me a share.” And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) smiled. (Al-Bukhari and Muslim).

The du`aa’s that have been narrated in the Sunnah include the following: It was narrated that Ibn `Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to seek refuge for al-Hasan and al-Husayn, and he would say, ‘Your father [ meaning Ibrahim peace be upon him] used to seek refuge with Allah for Isma`il and Ishaq with these words: A`udhu bi kalimat Allah al-tammah min kulli shaytanin wa hammah wa min kulli `aynin lammah (I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah, from every devil and every poisonous reptile, and from every evil eye).’” (Al-Bukhari).

Dua [supplication] is a powerful tool to achieve one’s means. Supplication is  loved and appreciated by Allah.

Indeed Allah has guaranteed the response of the du’a of the one in distress, as He Himself informed us of this (guarantee). And the reason for this is that the one in distress will turn to him with a pure sincerity, cutting his hope off from all other sources. And sincerity to Him is in the cause of (gaining) His Protection, regardless of whether it emanates from a kafir or Muslim, evil or pious!

[—Al-Qurtubī [d. 671H/1272CE] [al-Jami’ li Ahkam al-Qur’an, 13/223]

This is some advice you should try to understand and follow to help you insha’Allah –

It is from the wisdom of Allah (swt) that he has created man and placed him in distress and fatiguing situations, and made the life of this world a place of hardship so he may be purified of his sins and raised in his status and rank in the hereafter.

The first thing to realise and understand is that life is full of tests or trials for all. Some people will experience harder tests than others in their life but each test is an opportunity to turn a distressing situation into a blessing (as hard as this may sound to you right now). However, the test could instead be the downfall of a person because they have not sought help from the right sources. It is very easy and tempting to seek help from people that will offer a quick fix to your problems but you must stay firm on the correct path so we do not destroy our lives and the hereafter. Wouldn’t you rather be on a pathway to permanent recovery of your symptoms and ultimate success in the hereafter by pleasing our lord the Most High?

You will probably hear from people and may be from relatives that they know of someone that can cure you ‘straight away’. Please stay clear of anyone offering you a quick fix. There simply is NO SUCH THING. I’m sorry, but this is the truth and you have a right over me that I tell you the truth. People offering you quick fixes will make you WORSE in the long term and quite often will cause your problems to get worse immediately or in the near future. In short, stay WELL CLEAR from people that ask you for personal information such as your date of birth, your mother’s name or anything personal, EVEN IF this person has a long record of curing people. Any legitimate person will never ask you for any information, they don’t even need to know your name!

The most important thing to understand is that Allah SWT is the one that cures. If you take anything away from my reply, this is what you should take. All power is with Allah and no harm touches a person except by Allah’s permission. Magic, shaytaan, jinn, People, countries, the world cannot even harm a fly if Allah has not given permission for it. Allah SWT says (about magic/jadoo):

“… from them they learned what may divide a man and his wife, yet they did not hurt any man thereby, except by the leave of Allah” [Quran, Surah Al Baqarah, 2:102]

coran

A trustworthy person sent me the advice below:

Allah [ allows for the effect of magic to take place and Allah is the one that cures or removes it. If Allah wills, the cure for your problem can come in a second, in an hour, in a day, in a week, in a year or in a decade. All power is with Him, therefore all your duas and efforts should seek Him directly. The moment you understand this with sincerity is the moment you are on the path to recovery. Believe me, this along with TAKING ACTION is the ultimate key to success in your situation.

There are many things you can do immediately; starting right now, that will have an effect on the problems you are facing insha’Allah. The effect of magic is by use of Jinn. The Jinn (the shayateen or evil among them) are not very strong, they only take a grip when you show weakness in faith or religious duties. Once you take control of your faith and follow it properly they can never affect you.

Try to follow these steps –

1) Make sure you pray your salah on time. Salah is the most important protection. 2) Recite Ayat-ul-Kursi [2: 255] and Read Surah Ikhlas / Falaq / Nas after every Salah. 3) Avoid listening to music. 4) Stay in constant wudu. 5) Sit down in a quiet area with the intention to make ruqya on yourself. Ensure there are no children running around or the tv is not on in the background. You shouldn’t be disturbed. Have a glass of water and a 2 or 5 liter bottle of water handy. Make niyyah (intention) for Ruqah. 6) Seek refuge in Allah from the shaytaan three times – Aouthubillahi min-ash-shaytaan arrajeem. 7) Mention the name of Allah three times – bismillahir-rahman nir-raheem. Read Sura Fatiha, Ayatul Kursi three times and the last two ayaat of Surah al Baqarah three times each. 9) Read Surah Ikhlas / Falaq / Nas three times each. 10) Recite the ayaat’s of sihr three times each – [2:102] / [7:115 – 121] / [10:79 – 82] / [20: 65 – 70]. 11) Spittle into the glass of water and also spittle into the bottle of water. 12) Drink the water in the glass. Ensure you say bismillah 13) Drink the water in the bottle in the morning / evening / night. 14) Make ghusl with the remaining water in that bottle ie. Pour that water over your head and ensure it touches all of your body. 15) Each day you should be reciting into a fresh bottle and drinking it three times a day and making ghusl with it at night – any water is fine including tap water insha’Allah. 16) If you have movements in your stomach or bloatedness then purchase senna leaves or tea bags from Holland and Barrett and make tea with them and drink every day for two weeks.

17) For painful body parts, please recite Surah Al Fatiha, ayat ul Kursi and Surah Ikhlas / Falaq / Nas and then blow into a bottle of pure olive oil then rub this into the painful body part 18) Drink a tablespoon of honey and a tablespoon of black seed oil every day. 19) You can also put some of the water you’ve recited on into a spray bottle and spray the corners of every room in your house. 20) Make duaa. 21) Get cupping (hijama) done. Hijama is very effective in treating sihr, make sure you get it done. After you have got it done you might also get waswasa saying it didn’t cause any benefit, as you will not feel much difference. However keep getting hijama done on a regular basis. 22) Make wudhu before going to bed and read Ayat-ul-kursi. 23) Eat 7 dates on an empty stomach, preferably ajwa dates or dates from Madina. 24) Also whenever you read Quran read with the intention of Ruqya and with the intention of removing this sihr. Also have this intention when praying and doing wudu. 25) Put your hand on your head and read – Surah Al Fatiha / Ikhlas / Falaq / Nas, And recite “bismillah Arqeek, wallahu yashfeek, Min Kulli daa’in yutheek, wa Min Kulli nafsin aw’ainin Haasidin Allahu yashfeek”. Do this every morning and evening.

Beware you may get negative thoughts against this self treatment or you may feel like you it is a ‘waste of time’ and ‘probably won’t work’. This is shaytaan trying to stop you from taking action as these actions will weaken it. You need to fight through these thoughts.

Insha’Allah if you follow the course above, Allah will cure you. Have high hopes and be optimistic of a cure. If you do these things, with the intention that All power is with Allah and you are seeking to please Him, you will see a difference insha’Allah.

May Almighty Allah, the Creator and Sustainer of the universe guide you and protect you from harm, Ameen.

A menstruating woman can: 1) Listen to the Quran. 2) Buy a supplication book and make constant dhikr. 3) Send blessings on our beloved Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace). 4) Spend time with her family and loved ones for the sake of Allah. 5) Attend religious lectures and classes. 6) Read about the righteous and pray to be of them. 7) Supplicate for whatever she wishes. 8 ) Beg for forgiveness and the pardon of her sins. 9) Get involved in her local community and help others. 10) Reflect about her life and thank Allah for all her blessings.

Though these acts may seem simplistic, no one knows how Allah will weigh one’s works on the Day of Judgment. Surely, a deed that is done with an open heart and presence of mind for who one is worshipping is most deserving of reward.

In terms of touching the Quran – the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said, “Only a pure person may touch the Quran.” [Abu Dawud; al-Bayhaqi] In another narration he said, “Do not touch the Quran unless you are a pure person.” [al-Tabarani] The phrase ‘pure person’ means someone who is ritually pure. [al-Munawi; Fayd al-Qadir]

Therefore, in terms of touching the Quran, the same ruling applies for a man and a woman in a state of minor or major ritual impurity. Namely, neither of them can touch the Quran without first removing this state. However, lifting the state of ritual impurity may be done quicker for some than for others. For example, a woman who merely needs to perform ablution will relieve this state quicker than a menstruating woman.”

I hope by publishing these advices, they will be beneficial for you and the one who has written the above note, will be rewarded for his effort. ameen

What is salah [Muslim prayer] and why do we need to perform it daily?

[this page is on construction, please bear with us]

Salah [the Muslim prayer] is the second pillar of Islam. As everyone is aware, a pillar is important in any construction. Salah is therefore an important aspect of Islam for the fulfillment and the construction of any individual.

Many people who accept Islam, are not taught how to perform salah or they have embraced Islam while being in a part of the world where it is difficult for them to find a group of Muslims or imams or even a masjid nearby. In such cases, they become Muslims but find it difficult to learn how to pray because they have no one to assist them physically.

Anyway, the Quran, several times speak about salah and its importance as well as its rewards. A person who prays salah with awareness, consciousness, love and understanding cannot be the same as someone who lives his life as a destitute, unaware and unconcerned about Allah and His command.

It is the responsibility of the parents to train their children before the required compulsory age to start salah. Salah must be done with love.

The ruku’

It is necessary that the person who is remembering Allah should understand what he is saying – he should combine the remembrance of the heart with that of the tongue so that he is attached to his lord both outwardly and inwardly

The best day of the week is Friday. Friday is  the congregational day where all Muslim brothers must make extra effort in order to attend Jumma prayer. Of course, in Mauritius, the government has offered two hours for all men to pray Jumma prayer. This is a blessing from Allah. This is not the case for many brothers abroad. So they should pray and supplicate Allah for a better situation.

Volume 2, Book 13, Number 1:

Narrated Abu Huraira:

I heard Allah’s Apostle (p.b.u.h) saying, “We (Muslims) are the last (to come) but (will be) the foremost on the Day of Resurrection though the former nations were given the Holy Scriptures before us. And this was their day (Friday) the celebration of which was made compulsory for them but they differed about it. So Allah gave us the guidance for it (Friday) and all the other people are behind us in this respect: the Jews’ (holy day is) tomorrow (i.e. Saturday) and the Christians’ (is) the day after tomorrow (i.e. Sunday).”
