Life of a teacher – now gone to meet her lord

Quotes from Anne Mathilda Perdreau, Mauritius

Mrs. Anne Perdreau was an intellectual lady of her time, devoted teacher. She has devoted all her time between her family and her work.

Pastime: crosswords, general reading, reading the Bible, researching, sewing, helping others, giving advice and caring for her family

Education is an art.

When your feet and your hands are operational, you don’t need to supplicate others for help

It is better to stay alone than to be insulted by the ignorant ones

Life is a tragedy when you cannot find likeminded people to converse

Memories are the sweetest parts of your life, that you will take along with you

People are always jealous of your success and possession because they are blind. They fail to see your struggle

We come in life and we struggle with sickness, with the jealousy and hatred of your surroundings. God is Great and you can only find solace in His Speech

I was three when my mother died. Living without a mother is terrible for any human being.

Loving is nothing if we do not understand the other’s feeling

A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops.  ~ Henry Brooks Adams. As children, we spend almost as much time with our teachers as we do with our parents. It’s no wonder, then, that so many of us have vivid memories of our teachers that stick with us years later.

An angry man is full of love inside!!!

A person who has lots of anger inside, Definitely loves people more than anyone else can. Because if red colour indicates anger then it indicates love too. Why do we become angry easily? We do so because we are attached to our view of who are to self-importance to the concept of “I” is threatened, “I” very often strikes out in fear, in anger. Anger can be controlled.

Haven’t you seen that the angered people are the most miserable. They have absolutely no control upon their emotions. They are drunk by this life or they are victimised by an angry person at home or at work.

Living everyday with a perturbed mind is not easy. Violence does not leave any space for love, care and security. The thousands of blessings fade away once you sit next to an angry person.

May Allah protect anyone who is in this situation and relieve him/her from the company of angry violent people. May Allah also help the angry ones to find their way towards bliss

Is school the best place to learn?

Education Sayings

Is unschooling the best solution nowadays?

Margaret Mead (December 16, 1901 – November 15, 1978) was an American cultural anthropologist who featured frequently as an author and speaker in the mass media during the 1960s and 1970s. She earned her bachelor’s degree at Barnard College in New York City and her M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from Columbia University.

Quotes from Maargaret Mead

Every time we liberate a woman, we liberate a man. Maargaret Mead
The solution to adult problems tomorrow depends on large measure upon how our children grow up today
What people say, what people do, and what they say they do are entirely different things.

What is happening today can be disastrous for educated children with just values, truthfulness and love for Allah and care for humanity. Children are the products of parents and the society. Going to school means to learn the ways of the system and to be connected everyday with all sorts of children – the good and the bad.

In many countries, children are the heroes of the society; whatever their actions!!! Corporal punishment is against the law and children feel they can do anything they want against their mates and against adults.

Good children learn to smoke, to say foul words, to trick and mock at their friends and to lie to teachers….

Good children are also bullied for being too good.

“I’m bad!” “I’m in a ghetto” “I want freedom” “I don’t care, it’s my life”

These are welcoming expressions for young so-called heroes. The more you look and behave like a vagabond, the more you are applauded by the society, girls and boys.

Many parents do not care what their children are doing in front of them, so why should they care what they are doing outside…why should they care if teachers call them to report their child’s misbevahiour?

Today, we should not be surprised to see how the society is evolving – a big mess and this will continue until we decide to bring education at school!!!!

Is unschooling the best option nowadays?

Are parents well-aware of the number of problems and hardship that their children have to face at school?

Bullying is as old as the earth. Bullying will not stop because many children grow up with naughtiness and the ability to hurt and destroy others

Bullying can damage many lives forever

What does school propose to protect children from bullying others and to learn to become better souls?

Such questions really need our attention

“The aims and objectives of education can be stated after defining the difference between education and instruction. Education helps in the complete growth of an individual’s personality, whereas instruction merely trains an individual or a group in the efficient performance of some task. A human being may be a great general, an efficient carpenter or a first-class pilot, a lawyer, a mechanic or a pathologist, a renowned doctor, a chemical engineer or a chartered accountant, but still remain a semi-educated, ill-mannered, immoral, unrighteous or unjust person. Similarly, someone may be a very fine painter, a good poet; or possess a love of beauty which is highly delicate and sensitive, but may, at the same time, be cruel or brutal, or an untruthful, unsocial individual, who deliberately ignores his or her duty towards neighbours or even spouse and children. We can say that people who have specialized in certain educational fields are well-instructed individuals, but we cannot necessarily regard them as truly educated. On the other hand, someone who knows and performs his or her duty towards self, family, neighbours and humanity, and at the same time has acquired a basic knowledge about how to earn a livelihood honestly and live a decent life, should be called an educated person. Such a person may not have specialized in a particular field of knowledge, but lack of expertise does not automatically prevent him or her from being recognised as an excellent human being”. When we shall decide to drop the intellectual approach and decide upon a humane approach, then surely education and instruction will connect and make sense altogether” – Ammaara Uddeen

Tafseer Surah al-Ma’idah Ayah 103

Verse By Verse Qur'an Study Circle

Baheerah, Sa’ibah, Waseelah and Haam

In this ayah, Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala is negating the rituals that some people had innovated. He says,

“Allah has not instituted things like Baheerah or Sa’ibah or Waseelah or aHaam. But those who disbelieve invent lies against Allah, and most of them have no understanding.”

Baheerah was a female camel whose milk was spared for the idols and no one was allowed to milk it.

Sa’ibah was a female camel let loose for free pasture for the idols, and nothing was allowed to be carried on it.

Waseelah was a female camel set free for the idols because it had given birth to a she-camel in its first delivery and then another she-camel at its second delivery. They used to set such camel…

Connection between halal food and your spiritual health

Islamic research has shown that there is a deep connection between the food you eat and your level of spirituality. Allah has willed us to be pure, that’s why He speaks greatly about halal and haram. The Glorious Qur’an speaks about food – good and bad. Read surah Al Maaidah verses 3 and 5.

“Prohibited to you are dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah , and [those animals] killed by strangling or by a violent blow or by a head-long fall or by the goring of horns, and those from which a wild animal has eaten, except what you [are able to] slaughter [before its death], and those which are sacrificed on stone altars, and [prohibited is] that you seek decision through divining arrows. That is grave disobedience. This day those who disbelieve have despaired of [defeating] your religion; so fear them not, but fear Me. This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion. But whoever is forced by severe hunger with no inclination to sin – then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful”.

Let’s see the list:
1. Animals already dead before zabah
2. Blood of animals [as we know some polytheists cook the blood. this is often served in wedding ceremonies etc, or they use the blood as sauce or they do not allow the blood to run out of the animal after it has been slaughtered.
3. Pork – pork is used in various ways. A person may be eating a veg soup but the base used is pig bones.
4. As you know human sacrifices as well as animal sacrifices existed since long. Animals are sacrificed for the idols or they are simply cooked with this intention. So, as believers [those who believe in One Creator] you should not contradict yourself in eating food that has been destined to gods and goddesses. If you meditate on this verse, you realize that the best food is the food cooked at home where you make your own dua, where you start in the name of Allah and you thank Allah for granting you this favour of eating what is pure.

The person who prepares the food must be spiritual and a believer in Allah. Besides, as Muslims we should stay away from anything that is doubtful and which does not bring peace to the heart and mind. Today sadly, even scholars are losing grounds on this issue. Many are debating on this issue. There is no need to debate. How can you use the money which Allah has so generously given to you, to choose unislamic restaurants and sit in a bizarre environment with your wife and children, where there are no angels, to eat food prepared by enemies of Allah to satisfy your stomach!!!! Muslims are eating at the polytheists, those who have given their souls to idols, who are considered najas by the glorious Qur’an.

Don’t jump to conclusions due to your ignorance!!!

Is this racism, communism or fanaticism to refuse the food cooked by polytheists, to go to their wedding dinners? The answer is no. Prophet Muhammad [peace be upon him] never sat with the polytheists to eat. It is protecting your Iman and your level of spirituality. Don’t allow close relationship with them so that you feel shy to refuse their invitation to eat. Don’t eat their festival food which are cooked for their gods. In verse 5 , Allah says: ” This day [all] good foods have been made lawful, and the food of those who were given the Scripture is lawful for you and your food is lawful for them.” There is a difference between the people of the book and the polytheists.Who are the people of the Book? Those who have received a Book before Islam. 🍉🍉🍉

The polytheists have NOT received any book from Allah. They have vowed their souls to idols and when you eat their food, you connect with them. Food has a direct affect on your soul, body and mind. It is about positive and negative energy transferred to your body, your soul and your brain. Your brain is affected because you have laa ilaha illallah within you and suddenly you are affecting it with the poison of life and shirk 🍏🍏🍏

Why do you buy halal food, say bismillah when you cook it, make dua after cooking it? Why? Why do you need to make such effort and violate it later on? And after such effort, you go and sit with friends at parties and eat food offered to idols, or cooked in the names of idols or cooked by idol worshippers whose houses are full of idols, who wear amulets, chains and bracelets and whose forehead is stained for the sake of their gods and goddesses? If you have the ability to reason, that’s a good point for you. 🍐🍐🍐 May Almighty Allah keep us safe from eating najas. And do not let the accursed shaytan trick you ever 🍇🍇🍇do sijdah, pray to Allah, ask Him to help you because this world is full of deception and soon you will stand in front of your Creator Allah.
