Can the death of others remind us of our own death?

Bismillah Ar Rahman Ar Rahim

Death is 100 % sure for every human being on earth. the moment you are born, you are sure that you will die.

But how many among us are really aware of this?

I mean, we all know that one day we will die,

but inside our heart and mind, we always think it will not be soon.

Death is for others. Death is never for us.

Never for our dear ones.

Until comes the day…and we are not prepared for it.

Then came the cries. the screams. The shock.

We feel that life is treacherous.

Life has not warned us enough.

But we were death.

We never heard the warning. Never.

Until the time comes

Then, it is too late

There is no time

Only cries, only despair

Did you know that Death comes at Any Age?

“The Angel of Death, put in charge of you, will (duly) take your souls: then shall you be brought back to your Lord. (32:11)

{We belong to Allah and to Him we will all return}

O Allah, forgive our parents who are dead and have mercy upon them and pardon them. Be generous to them and cause their entrance to be wide and wash them with water and snow and hail. Cleanse them of their transgressions as white cloth is cleansed of stains. O Allah give them an abode better than their homes, and a family better than their families. Take them into Paradise and protect them from the punishment of the grave and from the punishment of Hell-fire

May Allah fill their graves with light and the scent of musk and spaciousness! May Allah forgive them their faults and weaknesses! May Allah forgive all their  sins. May Allah protect them from punishment in the grave. May Allah save them from torment in the grave! May Allah grant them  jannatul firdaus! Ameen

Dua for someone dearest to me who died on Saturday 13th November 2010

May Allah Azzawajal provide her with the best. Ameen
