One of Muslim’s momentum…the Hajj

eid ul adha 2

Hajj is the 5th pillar of Islam. It is a compulsory act of worship, which is called ‘Ibadah. And on the 10th day of Zul-hijj, Muslims all over the world celebrate Eid-Ul-Adha.

Annually during Hajj, Muslims celebrate the sacrifice Prophet Ibraheem (peace be upon him) was willing to make for Allah. We are reminded that the love for Allah surpasses love for anything else and  also of Allah’s mercy and provision. Allah says in the Quran:

“…And whoever fears Allah – He will make for him a way out. And will provide for him from where he does not expect…” Surat At-Talaaq, V. 2-3

It is important that Muslims understand the importance of this celebration and donate generously to those countries where food is scarce.

I wish you all days full of blessings. Let us make the niyyah to fast on the 9th of Arafat and may Allah accept our good deeds done generously to please Him alone.

May Allah bless you and make your sacrifice a means of coming closer to Him both in this life and the hereafter. Ameen.
